September Mummy Self Care Reminder

Every month I want to remind you to take some time off for yourself. It can be minutes, hours or whole days, whatever you have available. Treat yourself nicely as much as you can. It can be easy to forget when you are a mum. Consider this a reminder to you.

Get cosy

It’s officially autumn and time to cuddle up. Replace that glass of cold white wine on the balcony with a warm tea on your couch. This will even contribute to a better health, which gets a whole new priority when this season approaches. Tea contains antioxidants and can help you fight different diseases.

Add more hydration to your skin care routine

Changing seasons means changing skin care. Your skin doesn’t have the same needs all year round when you live in North Europe. It can mean adding a face oil or serum to your skin care or just changing your day cream to one with more hydration. Elbmama will keep you posted on skin care suitable for every season. Stay tuned!

As mentioned above autumn means colds. Especially when having kids in daycare. Boost your immune system already now. Great immune system boosters are zink and vitamin C, but you never go wrong with a mulitvitamin.

Read a magazine

Or even a book! But if you have less time or are used to being interrupted often, a magazine is a great alternative. You don’t have to worry about any bookmark, that “someone” might pull out, you can basically just open on any page and escape for a few minutes.
