Neustadt is a part of Hamburg that also includes the city center. The obvious street to visit would be Neuer Wall, with Chanel, Prada, Dorothee Schumacher and Acne, but sometimes the most interesting places are found in the smaller streets. This is where you find a bit more of a personal Hamburg vibe. We listed a few of them.
Perle Concept Store
Großneumarkt 22
A concept store right in the middle of Großneumarkt, a square mostly dominated by restaurants. Even though the name “Perle” has strong references to Hamburg, walking into the store feels more like being in Paris, London or Copenhagen. They have 150 sqm with a mix of the best brands from France and Scandinavia (Maison Kitsune, Broste Copenhagen, Design Letters) and offers products for women, men, kids and home.
NKM Atelier
Hohe Bleichen 25
NKM stands for Natur Kosmetik München and they recently opened up their first flagship store i Hamburg. The interior is beautiful and can easily compete with international brands like Aesop (which is just around the corner by the way). German beauty and skin care brands has recently been on the rise internationally and G-beauty is slowly taking over after the K-beauty (Korean-beauty) hype. We hope at least.

Torquato
Hohe Bleichen 23
Yes, right next to NKM you find the recently relocated Torquato. Previously you would find Torquato in Hanse Viertel, but they moved to a bigger and better location with 3 floors. The new surroundings suit them very well and they even added a café. Torquato offers “things with soul” – basic things for your home but with a little extra. A perfect place to find a gift!
